MOMMY + STELLA GO EXPLORING

Sometimes you just have to throw on some DOPE gear and
explore around town!

I know, I know... It does take a bit of planning with a toddler but when your mini me starts smothering you because she's exhausted all her iPad apps and the last bit of playdoh has gone dry, it's time to hit the road! Fortunately for me, I was able to kill two {or three} birds with one stone!

I had been procrastinating about selling or donating my son's old bikes to the local consignment shop and I also had a sneaky feeling my little sassy lady would enjoy the visit too.

Hanging with my little girl is one of my fav things to do and I’ve become obsessed with toddler fashion!  Girls are so much fun to dress and I love supporting small shops via Instagram. Consignment shops have also become a favorite of mine.  A lot parents are very conscious of reselling their kid’s things, which means you can find great stuff in excellent used condition.  So many treasures!! Each shop has its own policy about buying and selling but either way, I figure if you’re not using something and its just collecting dust or taking up valuable space – get rid of it! I hate clutter.

Honestly, because we still have a toddler, I'm usually just trading one toy for another or supplementing her wardrobe.

So what do you do after a fun morning of buying and selling? Lunch, of course! We’ve been wanting to stop by and grab
a bite at our cute local Stewarts Shop with the kids all Summer
but with BBQs filled with burgers and dogs and trips to the beach, its hasn’t been our first choice.  But Oh. My. Goodness. What I didn’t realize was that lunch with my sassy girl would turn out to be such a DOPE mini photo shoot!

It was a great day of rootbeer floats and pretend selfies.
