There’s something about camping that’s just old school fun! Am I right? After the past few months of quarantine, we wanted to get our family out to enjoy nature and just spend time together without the distractions. Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Quarryville, PA. has the perfect combination of outdoor fun and family friendly amenities to make your camping experience much more special.
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not a legit camper like the rest of my family -- I need AC and a real shower, ha! So if you're like me, Jellystone has you covered! The cabins are spacious and comfy and we loved having the option to cook in our kitchenette or grill by the campfire. *The beds are definitely on the stiffer side.
Most of the amenities are included in your stay at no extra charge. The Water Zone, pools, mini golf course, jumping pillow, and playgrounds were definitely our favorite! Lazer Tag and gem mining are offered at an additional cost but also so worth it!

1. How many nights did you stay and do you wish you stayed longer?
We stayed 3 nights and I think it was perfect! We had enough time to enjoy the activities offered.
2. Do you need a golf cart?
Yes! And No. We recommend a golf cart because it makes it easier to travel around the campgrounds and it’s also a fun add on for the kids—they love it!
3. Can I bring my pet?
Yes! Pets are allowed at the RV sites, but not at the tent sites, playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings. Select cabins are pet-friendly for a fee. Cabin fees: 1 pet – $40, 2 pets – $60. However, guests or visitors may not bring pets with them. If they arrive with a pet, they may not be permitted to enter the Camp-Resort. You also must keep your pet on a leash at all times and you’re responsible for noise control and clean up. View Pet Waiver here.
4. Are there restaurants nearby if you opt not to cook?
Yes, there are a few restaurants nearby like C.R. Lapps Family Restaurant, The Daily Grind, Dottie's Snack Bar, Maplehofe Dairy, Robert Fulton Birthplace, and Enola Low Grade Trail. They are all within 5 miles of the campgrounds and most deliver right to Jellystone Park.

5. Where do I get firewood?
Firewood is available for purchase and delivery at the Ranger Station! Firewood is $8/bag or $30 for 5 bags.
