Is it just me or did this week drag on a
bit? Wasn't it supposed to be only a 4-day week? I think we had too much fun
last weekend and just couldn't quite get back into the swing of things.
If you didn't catch it on Instagram, we took advantage of the long
holiday weekend and took the kids to Shawnee Mountain in Pennsylvania. We had a blast and I thought I’d share
a few of the highlights with you guys!

Even though we would've loved to ski our kids are not huge fans so we figured we would give snow tubing a shot first. If you're kids are like ours, we never know
how long they'll last before a total melt down so the 2 hour snow tubing limit
was perfect!
By the way, did you know that January is national learn to ski and snow broad month? Shawnee is
offering a special learn to ski package which includes lift ticket, ski or snow
broad rental and a beginner lesson any day or night for $69 during the month of
January. Honestly, that’s a great deal! We
found Shawnee Mountain to be a relatively small
resort but really family friendly and we had a great first time experience.
