The Best Thing About Diggerland? Everything! 

Diggerland USA located in West Berlin (Exit 4 Turnpike) is a one of kind construction amusement park here in New Jersey and my kids and I had a great time checking it out this weekend!  With 10 new attractions, we were all really excited to experience what Diggerland had to offer. 

Right from the start, we loved the bright and colorful view of the park! Who knew construction could be so exciting! As we explored the park, we quickly learned the requirements of each attraction and headed towards our favorites.

Attractions require a minimum of 36″ to ride on, some under the assistance of a parent or legal guardian. A few require a 42″height to participate. 

Children under 36″ have free admission but are limited to the playground, Barrel Train, Military Truck, and arcade. Non-participating guests over 65 years in age are also free. 

The Big Diggers and The Greased Beast were two of our favorites! 

Weighing in at a whopping 7,092 pounds, and with a powerful 26.8hp engine, on The Big Diggers, kids can dig until their hearts are content on the JCB 8030’s. My kids thought it was so cool to run and operate the diggers all on their own.

The most unique attraction, The Greased Beast, features 13 custom built seats in the rear hopper section of a steel demolition trailer; raising passengers over 34 feet in the air before a simulated dump of its cargo. Check out our video!

Diggerland USA offers several dining and snack options, which can be located at the Lunch Pail, Fork Lift Cafe, and Munch Box. We stopped at the Munch Box for a quick snack and ice-cold lemonade -- perfect to share! 

Now, are you ready for the SpinDizzy? The Spin Dizzy lifts and spins you at not-for-the-faint-of-heart degrees! The specially designed three ton high, torque JCB JS220 will give adrenaline junkies just the fix they need so strap in and hold on! 

By the way, did you know you could host your very own birthday party at Diggerland?

SOARING EAGLE ZIPLINE

Oh, and the best attraction of all? The Soaring Eagle Zipline, of course! Soar across the park in side-by-side seats as you enjoy a panoramic view from the 130-foot tower – just before you and your ride companion roar down the 700-foot zipline! No stair tower to climb. No harness or other gear required. Just walk on, take a seat and enjoy the flight! Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience this one first hand (darn) because my little one didn't make the cut off but we did catch a couple of passageners on the way out!
